Active retirement groups are invited to relax and reconnect with nature on our cruise from Banagher to Victoria Lock. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Meelick Weir walkway (optional) and witness the lock in action before returning to Banagher. Our friendly crew will serve hot or cold drinks from the fully licensed bar, and our knowledgeable captain provides engaging commentary throughout. For added convenience, we also offer a meal-and-cruise package in partnership with a local restaurant—perfect for a delightful day out in Ireland’s midlands.

Active retirement groups are very welcome to enjoy a beautiful cruise along the River Shannon. The cruise includes our most popular route from Banagher to Victoria lock via Meelick weir walkway (Return trip).

Two-Hour Scenic Escape

The two hour boat trip departs from Silverline Tours marina in Banagher and includes an opportunity to disembark for a short walk (optional) along the recently restored Meelick Weir to Victoria lock.

Drinks, Comfort, and Commentary

Enjoy a variety of hot and cold drinks from our fully licensed onboard bar. Our friendly crew will serve your drinks to your seat while you relax and enjoy entertaining commentary from our experienced captain.
