Our Tours –

  • What is the capacity of the boat?

    Our boat can accommodate up to 50 passengers.

  • Do I need to book tickets in advance?

    While not mandatory, we strongly recommend it to avoid disappointment.

  • How long does the cruise take?

    Approximately 2 hours, including the scenic walk and lock visit. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure.

  • Where does the tour depart from?

    Silverline Cruisers, Marina, Banagher. View on Google Maps.

  • Is the tour weather permitting?

    We sail in most conditions, except extreme weather.

  • Is the River Queen wheelchair accessible?

    Unfortunately, no.

  • Are there any age restrictions?

    All ages are welcome.

  • Is the tour dog friendly?

    Sadly, no.

  • Where can I park my car?

    We offer ample parking at our offices.

  • Are there life jackets on board?

    Yes, life jackets are provided for all passengers.

Private Hire –

  • Where can I park?

    Free parking is available at our marina. View on Google Maps.

  • Are life jackets onboard?

    Yes, for all passengers.

  • What is the boat’s capacity?

    Up to 50 passengers.

  • Do you serve food?

    We don’t provide catering, but you’re welcome to arrange your own.

  • Can we purchase drinks onboard?

    Absolutely! We have a fully licensed bar and serve tea/coffee.

School Tours –

  • Can students bring their own food?

    Yes, packed lunches are welcome.

  • Is there a minimum number of students?

    Our pricing is based on a minimum of 25. Contact us to discuss smaller groups.

  • Is the entry fee to Clonmacnoise included?

    No, this is separate.

  • Is the tour weather dependent?

    We only cancel for extreme weather.

  • Is the boat wheelchair accessible?

    Unfortunately, no.

  • Are there life jackets onboard?

    Yes, for all passengers.

  • Should we arrive early?

    Please arrive 15 minutes before departure for boarding.

Coach Tours –

  • Are these scheduled trips?

    No, each tour is tailored to your group’s schedule.

  • Is coach parking available?

    Yes, at all departure/arrival locations.

  • Minimum group size?

    Pricing is based on 25+ passengers. Call for smaller group inquiries.

  • Boat capacity?

    50 passengers.

  • Wheelchair accessible?

    Unfortunately, no.
